Our tours have been meticulously researched and planned to give you a fantastic experience, themed around specific places or aspects of the Scottish Highlands. These great value one-day tours include comfortable off road
transport, full guide service and delicious home-made food and snacks.
The all-inclusive price for our full-day tours is just £55 per person, with a maximum of eight guests.
The meeting point for all tours is the carpark of the Glenlivet Distillery (click on map for detailed directions)
Most tours commence at 10:30am, and will return to the Glenlivet Distillery by approximately 4:00pm.
Pick up from other locations within the surrounding area is available by arrangement.

Itinerary #1 - Whisky in the Wild
A unique off-road experience that follows the ancient whisky smugglers trails to tell the story of whisky's past, and bring the present to life.
Travel deep into remote Glenlivet in a comfortable off-road vehicle, learning of the fascinating history of the illicit distillers while looking out for eagles and deer and enjoying the spectacular
scenery. Whisky tasting and lunch included. £55.00 per person.
- Visit the original site of The Glenlivet distillery at Upper Drumin.
- Venture deep off road up the Glen of Suie to the source of the famous River Livet in the foothills of the Cairngorms - weather permitting.
- Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in one of the most remote and spectacular landscapes in Speyside.
- Walk towards Corryhabbie Hill in search of the elves cave, reputed to be one of the last illicit stills and learn of the old highlanders' harsh existence.
- Tutored outdoor nosing and tasting of local malt whiskies, followed by afternoon tea.
- Continue the off-road safari across the ladder hills into the Braes of Glenlivet.
- Return to the original meeting point.

Itinerary #2 - Royalty and Rogues
A tour that celebrates some of Scotland's most colourful characters, and travels through spectacular mountain scenery. Lochs, historic castles, bridges and mountain passes make this a wonderfully scenic excursion,
with a gentle stroll and picnic by the loch included. £55.00 per person.
- Drive past the Glenlivet packhorse bridges on route to Ballindalloch.
- Follow the river Spey to Lochindorb, including the infamous Wolf of Badenoch's 'lair on the loch'.
- Enjoy a stroll in the fresh air and then a delicious Scottish picnic lunch on the banks of the Loch.
- Travel over the spectacular 'Brig 'O' Broon' mountain pass to Tomintoul.
- Visit Queen Victoria's viewpoint.
- Drive by Avonside stopping at the Knock earth house and enjoying afternoon tea and a dram of the local malt whisky before driving on to Drumin Castle.
- Visit Blairfindy Castle, return to our original meeting point.

Itinerary #3 - Castles and Battles
Scotland's heritage may be built on our awe-inspiring natural scenery, but it is illustrated most vividly by our castles, from ghostly ruins, to sumptuous country estates, with breathtaking gardens and grounds. This tour
takes in three magnificent castles, but also visits the site of the Battle of Glenlivet and includes a never to be forgotten picnic lunch at the foot of Ben Rinnes. £55.00 per person.
- Travel to Ballindalloch Castle (shown right) for tour of castle and grounds.
- Drive to the Forest of Morinsch and be taken off road to the site of the Battle of Glenlivet.
- Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch looking at the brooding presence of Ben Rinnes.
- Venture on to Cairn Muldonach and enjoy spectacular views of Glenlivet with an insight into Glenlivet's history.
- Arrive back at vehicle for coffee.
- Visit Drumin Castle and Blairfindy Castle
- Return to the original meeting point.

Itinerary #4 - Hills, Heather and History
From iron mining to whisky distilling, the history of the Highlands is bound up in myth, folklore and - always - some of the world's most beautiful scenery. This tour, with a minimum of walking, lets our comfortable off-road vehicle take the strain,
seeking out some of the hidden treasures that many visitors will miss. A picnic lunch at the foot of the spectacular Ladder Hills is included. £55.00 per person.
- Drive to Tomintoul and on towards the Lecht ski slope.
- Hear fascinating insights of the areas' vivid history.
- Walk past a ghostly iron mine and on to the top of the Ladder Hills over the whisky smugglers trail.
- Take in the breathtaking views before descending towards Scalan.
- Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at the foot of the Ladder Hills.
- Visit Scalan and learn of it's captivating past.
- See the Bishops Well and hear of Glenlivet's past.
- Returning to the vehicle, continue past Braeval distillery to a hidden, eerie and ancient graveyard.
- After coffee, return to the original meeting point.

Itinerary #5 - On Top of the World
Travelling in the comfort of Heavenly Highland's vehicle, we will steadily ascend the mighty Cairn Daimh ('Hill of the Stags') to gain unbelievable 360-degree panoramas from Speyside's highest point, at 1886 feet above sea level.
A fabulous picnic lunch at the summit is included. £55.00 per person.
- Travel through beautiful Highland Pine forest near the village of Tomintoul
- Spot the native forest wildlife and mountain species as we arrive at the summit of Cairn Daimh
- Enjoy a delicious Scottish picnic lunch
- Marvel at the incredible 360 degree views, taking in the snow-capped Cairngorms and the Moray Firth.
- Descend into the valley of the River Avon to see and learn more about the fascinating history of this magical area

Itinerary #7 - The Scalan Experience
Travel in the comfort of our vehicle to the remote and fascinating site of Scalan, situated deep within the hidden Braes of Glenlivet, nestling under the brooding presence of the dark
Ladder hills. This trip departs 11:00am and returns at 3:00pm and costs £40.00 per person.
- Visit Scalan, once the only place in Scotland where young men were trained for the Catholic Priesthood.
- Hear of the often turbulent times and immerse yourself in its history.
- Learn how residents lived in the Highlands two hundred years ago, and take in the little-changed surroundings.
- Enjoy a delicious Scottish picnic lunch and a dram of local malt whisky before a short walk
- Return to the vehicle for our journey back to modern times!
