Established by Paul Cannavan in 2005, Heavenly Highlands offers visitors to Speyside and the highlands a very personal experience of the real highlands, in the company of a passionate and knowledgeable guide.

Paul has an MSc in Tourism Management, over 5 years experience as a distillery guide, and completed his Masters Dissertation on 'Whisky Tourism in Scotland'. But just as importantly, Paul has a lifetime's knowledge of these mountains and glens, his family home being in the heart of Glenlivet, where he has attained several awards for orienteering, hillwalking and skiing.

Paul leads the vast majority of Heavenly Highlands' tours personally in a brand new, long-wheelbase Land Rover. This allows access to some of the highland's most spectacular and remote scenery in complete comfort. For those who wish it, walking components form part of many tours.

Most of our pre-planned tours are themed, like our Whisky in the Wild or Castles and Battles day trips. But Heavenly Highlands is definitely not 'roughing it': party sizes are small, all tours are run at a pace to suit our guests, and all tours include delicious homemade food (click for sample menu).

Heavenly Highlands' first priority on all tours is your safety, comfort and total enjoyment. We have full Public Liability insurance, and are always happy to discuss your specific tour requirements.

Please see itineraries for our suggested tours, or enquire about tailor-made tours.
